Google’s interpretation of how presentationware should work is now up. I tried it, and there are some good things, and some bad things. Like my hero Mitch Hedberg says: “People either love it or hate it. Or think it’s just okay.”

Take a look at my sample presentation.

The Good:

• It’s easy.
• There are some nice sharing features.
• Very cool collaboration and versioning.
• Like any google web app, you can access it anywhere.

The Bad:

• Dude, where are my transitions?
• Can’t make template changes to just one slide
• Did I ask about transitions already? How about transition timing?
• Can’t insert an image from a URL. You have to browse your system (wait, isn’t this a web app?)

Hey, it’s a start. And I spent about 3 minutes on it, so I could be missing some things.
