Which Social Media Tools Do You Actually Use
Posted on November 4th, 2007 by Nathan Burke
Go ahead, accuse me of calling this one in. It is Sunday, and I might just be posting for the sake of posting (because of NaBloPoMo). But I’m curious: with all these new 2.0 sites, apps, and services, I’m wondering which ones people actually use every day. I’d be really curious to hear what people are using. Here’s mine:
- WordPress- I use wordpress for my blogs.
- Facebook- Though I may not use it every day, facebook is my social networking choice.
- Twitter- I am now a twitter addict and truly use it daily.
- LinkedIn- I use Linked in for professional networking
- Flickr- For my photos
- Revver- If I have videos to upload, I always use Revver
- Diigo- I’ve been using diigo and Mister Wong for social annotation, but mainly have used Diigo.
- News- Digg and Reddit
- RSS- Bloglines and Google Reader
- Blog Discovery- Technorati
I’d love to hear what other people are using.

[...] Which Social Media Tools Do You Actually Use [...]
1. Blogger
2. Facebook (stuff that doesn’t make the blog, or is too personal goes here. Love newsfeed.)
3. Twitter. Read more than I tweet. Feel guilty about that. But addicted to my feed.
4. Google Reader and Google home page
5. Delicious (can’t imagine life without this)
6. LinkedIn (Hate it, only use it cuz everyone else does.)
7. Pownce (Registered, love it, but nobody seems to use it. So neither do I, really)
8. Digg, meggite, Reddit, Popurls. Mmmmm.
9. Flickr & YouTube (and now Blip.tv) for agency photos and fun
Playing with others, but that’s my current list…
