Zemanta For Windows Live Writer- I Believe The Term Is "Woot."

Oh Zemanta, what don’t you do?

I mean, I’ve spent a lot of time telling people just how much I love the Zemanta plugin for WordPress. I’ve blogged about it. I’ve done presentations mentioning the plugin as one of my Super Secret Ill Ninja blogging tricks. And now…….

They’ve added a Zemanta Windows Live Writer Plugin.

Woot. I say woot.

See, I love using Windows Live Writer to compose my blog posts. It’s just so much more intuitive than using the WordPress in-browser editor. And when I jumped on the “I have to use Zemanta for every blog post because it lets me link to related articles and find photos” bandwagon, my blogging workflow had to change. Instead of simply composing my blog posts in WLW (windows live writer) and publishing directly to Blogstring, I’d save the post as a draft. I’d then edit the draft in WordPress so I could add Zemanta links.

Not anymore. No need.

If you’re a blogger and you can only use one plugin to bring your blogging game up a notch (not sure why that would be, but let’s go with it), use Zemanta.

  1. Great to see you using it. Watch out that this is our first released preview, so we’d be really happy to tell us if you notice any annoying glitches so we can improve it for the next version.
